Triangle Motors was founded in 1978 when Tom Meacham took over the lease of a Texaco gas station on Route 40 with only two service bays. During the 70's and 80's, Honda began to flourish. With Hondas being affordable and much more fuel efficient than the larger American cars, they quickly became popular. Needless to say, business boomed and Triangle gained a reputation for being THE Honda specialists in Frederick County and so they changed from being a gas station into a full-time service garage with 5 bays. In the early 1990's, the decision was made to move the business to a new and larger location which was called Evergreen Point at the time. With a robust sales and rentals department, Triangle continued to thrive into the new millennium. As Triangle continued growing, it was again time to move. In 2002, Triangle moved to its current location at 1790 North Market St, where the business has been ever since. With 12 service bays, a full-time sales, service, and rental staff, Triangle Motors has become a Frederick landmark known for its friendly, small-town feel and automotive expertise. Now with 8 certified technicians with a variety of experience, Triangle continues to be a Honda specialist, but in an effort to better take care of our customers, we now also service all makes and models.
